Side Channel Analysis

“Side Channel Analysis” is a technique used in computer security to try and figure out secret information like passwords, encryption keys, or other sensitive data. The idea behind it is that even if the actual secrets are kept very safe and secure, they might still accidentally leak out through other parts of the computer system - like the power consumption, electromagnetic radiation, or even the sound that the computer makes. By measuring those leaks and analyzing them, clever hackers can sometimes figure out the secrets even without ever seeing them directly. This is why it’s important to not only protect your secrets themselves, but also to create a secure environment around your computer system to prevent any leaks or vulnerabilities that could expose them to hackers.
