Sandboxing Escape

Sandbox Escape is when bad people try to get out of a special computer program called a “sandbox”. A sandbox is like a play area that keeps bad programs and hackers from hurting other parts of the computer. But sometimes bad people try to break out of the sandbox so they can do bad things outside of it.

It’s kind of like a bad guy trying to break out of a jail or a cage. But in this case, the jail or cage is a computer program that keeps the bad guy from doing bad things. If they escape the sandbox, they can harm other parts of the computer or even steal personal information.

To prevent sandbox escaping, computer programmers need to make the sandbox really strong and secure so that nobody can break out of it. They also need to be on the lookout for ways that bad guys might try to break out of the sandbox and be ready to fix any weaknesses in the program.
