Ransomware
Ransomware is bad software that can harm computers. It can come from websites, emails, or even files that we download. Once it gets into our computer, it can take all our important files and information and lock them up so we can’t use them. To unlock them, the bad guys demand that we pay them money. This is like being kidnapped and having to pay a ransom to get released. It’s not good and we should always be careful when we use our computers to make sure we don’t accidentally download bad software like ransomware.
