Password Spraying

Password Spraying is a cyber attack technique where hackers try a few commonly used passwords across many different accounts or users. They do this to get unauthorized access to sensitive information or systems.

The attackers usually start by targeting a single account or user with these commonly used passwords. Then they move on to the next account, and keep doing this until they find a password that works.

Password Spraying is different from a brute force attack, where hackers use a computer program to guess all possible combinations of passwords until they find the correct one.

To prevent becoming a victim of a Password Spraying attack, use a strong password and avoid using the same password for multiple accounts. Multi-factor authentication can also help prevent unauthorized access.
