Denial-of-Service-Attack (DoS)
A Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack is when somebody tries to overload and break a computer system, website, or network so that it can’t be used by others. This is usually done by flooding the system with fake traffic, requests, or data.
Think of it like a bunch of people trying to enter a small shop all at once. They are pushing and shoving to get in, and nobody else can enter the shop because of all the chaos.
DoS attacks are usually done by bad people who want to cause damage or steal information. They can be very harmful and cause a lot of problems. It’s important to have proper security measures in place to prevent and detect these types of attacks.
