Data Aggregation Attack
A data aggregation attack is when a hacker tries to get a lot of information about someone by collecting different pieces of information from different sources. It’s like putting together a puzzle with pieces from different boxes.
For example, a hacker might get your name from one website, your birth date from another website, and your address from a third website. They can then use all these pieces of information to try and guess your passwords or get access to your accounts.
To protect yourself from a data aggregation attack, you should be careful about what information you share online. Don’t give out your full name, birth date, or address unless it’s absolutely necessary. And always use strong passwords that are hard to guess.
