Clickjacking

Clickjacking is a type of cyber attack where a hacker tricks you into clicking on something you didn’t mean to. They might do this by hiding a button or link behind another image or pop-up, or by overlaying a transparent layer over a website or app.

When you think you’re clicking on one thing, you’re actually clicking on something else, like a fake login button or an ad for a virus scanner. By doing this, the hacker can trick you into giving them access to your sensitive information like login credentials, credit card numbers or personal details.

One way to protect yourself from clickjacking is to check the source of the link or button before clicking on it. Make sure it’s coming from a trusted source and not a suspicious-looking website. You can also use anti-clickjacking software that can detect and prevent these types of attacks.
