BREACH Attack

BREACH attack is a security vulnerability that can happen on web sites that use HTTPS encryption. It can allow attackers to figure out sensitive information like passwords or credit card numbers that are being sent over encrypted connections.

Basically, web sites use a technique called “compression” to make data transfer faster. BREACH takes advantage of this technique by tricking the web site into compressing user data that attackers can use to figure out sensitive information.

So, in simpler terms, a BREACH attack is a way for the bad guys to steal your secret information from web sites that you think are safe. It’s important to keep your computer and browser up-to-date and use strong passwords to protect yourself from these kinds of attacks.
