BGP Hijacking Attack
BGP Hijacking Attack is when someone tries to control the flow of internet traffic by pretending to own certain network IP addresses that they do not actually own. This can cause internet traffic to redirect to the attacker’s computer instead of going where it was supposed to go. It is like if someone went to the post office and pretended to be you so that they can receive your mail instead of you. They can then read your mail or even change it before giving it to you. BGP Hijacking Attack can be very dangerous because attackers can use it to steal information or even take control of websites.
