BEAST
BEAST, short for Browser Exploit Against SSL/TLS, is a computer security vulnerability that affects web browsers, specifically those using the TLS 1.0 encryption protocol.
In simpler terms, when you access a website that uses TLS 1.0 to secure your information, BEAST allows attackers to potentially intercept and decrypt that information, putting your sensitive data, like passwords and credit card information, at risk.
This vulnerability was discovered in 2011 and since then, most modern web browsers no longer have this vulnerability. It’s always important to keep your web browser updated to the latest version for security reasons.
